Called and talk to US Coast Guard PO <br />Palmer 415 399 7300, PO Palmer stated that he received the information from a <br />San Joaquin Deputy Sheriff Tel 209 423 2603. Called fish and wild life Ryan <br />Rodriguez 408 210 3882 and left a voice message. Called the deputy for <br />information about the vessel, the deputy Sheriff said Jason Glisman - 209 210 <br />8673(San Joaquin Sheriff) is handling the matter. Called Jason , and he stated <br />that the Vessel got fire due to a mechanical failure, and they chased the vessel <br />and stop the fire, about 50 gallons of fuel was in the vessel and got burnt, the <br />vessel was presently tied near the ports of Stockton. When I asked for the <br />responsible party information he said he has it and I should call him tomorrow( <br />next day) Saturday at 1.pm. When I ask for amount of diesel released he stated <br />that there was no release or sheen observed in the River. <br />09/03/2022 At 13.05 called Deputy Sheriff Jason Glissman 209 210 8673 for update on the NSO <br />vessel that was on fire on 9/2/2022. Jason gave the name and telephone number <br />of the responsible part as: Tilly Christopher Tel 209 981 7793. He promise to call <br />me back in about one hour to give me the exact situation of the vessel. <br />Called Christopher (the responsible Party) and only talk to his wife. The wife said <br />the vessel was removed from the river and is in a location waiting to be <br />dismantled. According to the Deputy Sheriff (Jason) during his call back , the <br />vessel was removed yesterday (Friday) and he will be working with the vessel <br />owner for the vessel to be dismantle and taken to a landfill. According to Jason, <br />there was no diesel released . The 50 gallons fuel on board got burnt due to the <br />fire and Jason promise to send me a copy of his incident report. Called US Coast <br />Guard 415 399 7300 and discuss updating spill report with Cal OES, they promise <br />to do so. Spill report has not been updated. <br />09/20/2022 No additional information received from the san Joaquin sheriff. Reviewed paper NSO <br />work to abate as unable to verify, print 5104 and 5105, no photos since no site <br />visit was made. <br />5105.rpt Page 1 of 1
