The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study supports the suitability for the proposed OWTS usage
pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9-604.010 (d).
2. The Percolation test conducted on April 19, 2019 yielded percolation rates of 13.3 min/inch. At this rate,
a minimum 8 feet of soil separation is required between bottom of the dispersal field and the
groundwater. The SSNL reports groundwater level between 25 to 30 feet below surface grade. (San
Joaquin County OWTS Standard Table 1.10.2).
If you have any questions please contact Francisco Garcia Ruiz, Registered Environmental Health Specialist,
at fgarciaruiz@sjgov.org or (209) 616-3032.
Steven Shih, REHS
Program Coordinator
1868 E.
