City of Stockton responded and observed
absorbent and a diesel odor. The estimated amount of diesel was less than
50-gallon and did not impact any waterways. City of Stockton Public Works will
conduct clean-up.
Called reporting party, Brian Toledo with City of Stockton Municipal Utilities
Department. Per Brian City of Stockton Public Works will be out there to further
sweep up absorbent. He is uncertain of the time. He said the Bill Coons the Public
Works Supervisor can provide more information. The wastes will be taken to the
City of Stockton Corp Yard with all other wastes from clean ups the clean up crew
has done that day.
Discussed spill report with lead senior and program coordinator.
Received phone call from Brain that the crew is heading over there now but they
are just applying more absorbent to an already cleaned area.
Called Stockton Unified School District and spoke with Abby Rodriguez,
Executive Assistant IV and informed her of spill near Victory Elementary School.
She requested information in writing. Emailed to her. Received phone call from Bill
Coons who said they will bring all the waste back to the corp yard but there won't
be one manifest for this specific waste. They bring all their wastes back to the yard
and are placed in one big container and will all be picked up with their waste oil at
the next scheduled pick up but he is uncertain of the schedule.
09/29/2022 Arrived on site and spoke with Chris Dosier with City of Stockton Public Works
who said the area was already clean when they arrived by are just doing additional
clean up for any residual leftover that was not cleaned. They will be brining all the
waste to 1465 S Lincoln to their corp yard. They used approximately two 40 quart
bags of absorbent. Per Chris they aren't absorbing anymore of the staining with
their absorbent. Walked down to the nearest storm drain and did not observe any
release that reached there.
PRESTO
51 05. rpt Page 1 of 2
