SAN JO;AQUIN <br />CT <br />Environmental Health Department <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: NORTHWEST CORNER OF MONTE DIABLO AVE AND WILSHIRE AVE, STOCKTC Date: 10/05/2022 <br />Address: 0 MONTE DIABLO AVE, STOCKTON <br />Owner/Operator: CITY OF STOCKTON Telephone: <br />Program Element: 2546 - RELEASE/SPILL RESPONSE (EXCLUDING JOINT TEAM) Complaint #: CON9MK6JC <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />Anonymous complaint came into city of Stockton for absorbent and diesel odor observed on the side of the road. City of <br />Stockton public works observed absorbent at the reported area and less than 50-gallons of diesel release and no waterways <br />impacted. City of Stockton will clean up release. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health (EHD) received a spill report for a spill clean-up observed at the corner of Monte <br />Diablo Ave and Wilshire Ave in Stockton City of Stockton responded and observed absorbent placed on ground and a diesel <br />odor. No waterways were impacted and the release was estimated to be less than 50-gallons. City of Stockton Public Works <br />will conduct additional clean-up. <br />Arrived on site and spoke with Chris Dosier with City of Stockton Public Works who said the area was already clean when <br />they arrived by are just doing additional clean up for any residual leftover that was not cleaned. Absorbent placed on staining <br />were no longer absorbing the staining on the ground. Walked down to the nearest storm drain and did not observe any <br />release that reached there. Wastes will be brought to 1465 S Lincoln, City of Stockton Corp Yard. Approximately two 40 quart <br />bags of absorbent were used to clean residual from release. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
