Stockton Firefighter <br />Scott Olsen reported that an ANSUL system deployed at 7610 Pacific Ave Suit B, <br />Stockton (Royal Indian Cuisine). Per Scott, the ANSUL system deployed because <br />the kitchen got too hot. There was no fire observed at the scene. Scott also <br />stated that there was construction going on in the dining room. <br />Called the facility at 209-475-9292 and spoke with the owner. The owner only <br />spoke Punjabi and did not speak English. Called EHD Director Jasit Kang and <br />had a conference call with the owner. <br />The facility wants to open. They were informed that the ANSUL system needed to <br />be recharged and the kitchen cleaned before that could happen. They were also <br />informed that they would be charged for EHD's response. <br />Spoke with the owner's son Amcy. Discussed recharging the ANSUL system with <br />him. He asked for a contractor. Gave him the number for Butch Young Fire <br />Equipment Incorporated. Amcy called me back and informed me that the store <br />was closed. Informed him that he would have to search for a contractor to refill <br />the system. Amcy said he would call me back once the system was recharged. <br />Created complaint and linked the facility. <br />02/04/2023 9:12-9:24 AM received call from the owner asking if there was a contractor I knew ALANIZ <br />to recharge the Ansul system.
