THEY ALSO ARE DUMPING USED OIL ON THE GROUND IN THE BACK OF THE SHOP. Walked me to the side of the shop to show the back of the shop is gated off and locked by the property owner. Per Dan the owner gated off the back due to issues with homeless and showed me barbed wire was added to their fence between the parking lot and the railroad to further prevent homeless from entering their area. Per Dan they don't have access to the back to dump anything back there. The ground was wet behind the building but it appears to have come from the downspout from the gutter. The liquid collected at the bottom of the downspouts and appears to run down along the building. Per Dan, chemicals are not being sprayed on gas motors, but rather just water. Rinse water from the tools are going down the drain. He stated the he hoses down tools he repairs such as compressors prior to giving them back to his customers. The drain leads to a storm drain into the street. No sheen was observed in the water leading to the drain from Delta Tool Repair and Supply. The shop next door Contractors Equipment Service is a separate business. Liquid was also coming from his business to the same storm drain. Spoke with shop owner Tuyn Tao who said he doesn't rinse chemical down the drain. Received his business card. Left to go to another spill. 12/10/2021 Received page from front counter for a complaint. Called front counter who stated PRESTO the complaint was made by an anonymous person so there is no call back information. The complainant states that Delta Tool Repair and Supply is spraying chemicals on gas motors and letting grease and chemicals drain onto the ground and down the drain in front of the shop. The complainant also stated that the repair shop is also dumping used oil on the ground in the back of the shop. Checked CERS, Delta Tool Repair and Shop is not in CERS. Could not access Envision Connect while in the field, will check back in the office. Called lead senior to discuss complaint. Go to shop and verify complaint and do a hazardous waste inspection if there is time. Checked Envision in the office, not in Envision. Nothing at that address comes up in Envision or CERS. 11/04/2022 Found 5104. no other documents attached except for business cards.
