Telephone: (209) 333-5611 <br />Program Element: 2546 - RELEASE/SPILL RESPONSE (EXCLUDING JOINT TEAM) Complaint #: C00054441 <br />Responsible Party Contact: SAM JAGER <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />Driver trying to lift a tarp over a roll off bin when the hydraulic line busted spilling hydraulic fluid onto the asphalt only. No <br />waterways impacted or damage reported. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />3 gallons of hydraulic fluid released due to a damaged hydraulic line. Central Valley Waste Management contained the <br />hydraulic leak and removed the truck from the spill site. Absorbent pads, and absorbent powder, were deployed. Photos were <br />provided by Fabian Speed, showing the spill before clean up, and after clean up was concluded. Waste generated was sent to <br />Waste Managnnent's site for consolidation. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
