OBSERVATION: One 55 gallon drum of acetone found inside building 2 at the northwest corner of the building, <br /> three 55 gallon drums of oily soil (greater than 500 pounds, actual weight was not available)found at the steam <br /> cleaning pad, and two 55 gallon drums of oily absorbent (greater than 500 pounds, actual weight was not available) <br /> found at the waste oil storage area have not been reported to CERS. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Any material that meets or exceeds the reportable quantity shall be reported in the <br /> facility's business plan. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, add the materials to the hazardous material inventory, and submit to the EHD for <br /> approval. <br /> .................................................................................................................................... <br /> 2. OBSERVATION: The Hazardous Materials Inventory form for the steam cleaner sludge/solid was not accurate. <br /> The maximum daily amount was reported at 374 pounds vs. at least 2800 pounds observed at the time of <br /> inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The Hazardous materials inventory information must be current and submitted as part <br /> of the business plan. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 6 HSC 25505(a)(2) Failed to electronically submit a site map with all required content. <br /> OBSERVATION: The site map is not complete/accurate. The drums of oily soil and the drum of diesel found at the <br /> steam cleaning pad, the 55 gallon drum of acetone and the eleven 5 gallon containers of oil inside building 2 at the <br /> northwest corner of the building, and the drums of oily absorbent at the waste oil storage area are not shown on the <br /> map. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A site map shall contain a north orientation, loading areas, internal roads, adjacent <br /> streets, storm and sewer drains, access and exit points, emergency shutoffs, evacuation staging areas, hazardous <br /> material handling and storage areas, and emergency response equipment.
