SAN JCAQUII\ Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: 9:05 am <br />Time Out: 9:35 am <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: IN SHAPE ATHLETIC CLUB -MANTECA Date: 03/15/2023 <br />Address: 1805 E YOSEMITE AVE, MANTECA 95336 <br />Owner/Operator: IN-SHAPE SOLUTIONS, LLC Telephone: (209) 219-2250 <br />Program Element: 3600 - RECREATIONAL HEALTH PROGRAM Complaint #: C00055652 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT STATES OUTSIDE SWIMMING POOL HAS BLACK MOLD ON BOTTOM OF POOL, INSIDE POOL HAS <br />A FILM ON TOP OF WATER, DIRTY DIAPERS AT BOTTOM OF POOL, BOTH POOL BOTTOMS ARE DIRTY, AND <br />SHOWER AREAS ARE DIRTY. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES SHE HAS PHOTOS AND THAT SHE HAS TALKED TO <br />MANAGEMENT MULTIPLE TIMES BUT THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: Outdoor pool has some dirt at the bottom due to yesterday storm. Clean the pool today and as needed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Complaint inspection. <br />As per manager, he is not aware of the complaint. I inspected the indoor and outdoor pools. I didn't observe any black mold at <br />the bottom of the pools. Water at both pools, is clean. I didn't observe any diapers in both pools. Indoor pool shower, women <br />and men lockers room showers are clean. Showers are cleaned every hour everyday and the log is maintained. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
