COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES THAT MANAGEMENT POSTS NOTICES BUT COMPLAINANT STILL GETS DIARRHEA. COMPLAINANT SPECULATES THAT THE MOTEL NEXT DOOR COULD HAVE THEIR SEWAGE LEAKING INTO THE WELL. Will refer complaint to Public RUVALCABA Water Unit as they have sampling data or can request sampling data that could determine contamination from sewage. 03/08/2023 Received complaint from Cesar. Reviewed water system water quality data. Data VUE does not indicate that well is contaminated. Water system is required to monitor on a monthly basis for coliform and e. Coli. No positive result for coliform and e. Coli in the most recent 12 months. 03/09/2023 Scheduled an inspection with Craig Huft, manager, to inspect the water system. VUE He stated that Quality Service will be present during the inspection as they are the operator for the water system and wastewater plant. 03/15/2023 Site visit with Joe Correia with Quality Service. Joe showed me the chart they used VUE to record the wastewater data to ensure the plant is operating properly. He explained the wastewater plant process. Viewed the leach fields. No indication of surfacing sewage. Observed leaks at the gate valve by the pressure tank. No other deficiencies noted at the well and tanks. Additional coliform samples were collected on March 10, 2023. Joe forwarded a copy of their recent coliform lab report to me. Both samples were negative for coliform and e. Coli. 03/15/2023 Reviewed the neighboring motel (Marion Ranch Motel) septic system and VUE compliance history. 03/21/2023 Drafted inspection report. VUE 03/27/2023 Site visit regarding neighboring septic system. No one was available. Sign said VUE that they will return at 2 PM. 03/27/2023 Scheduled a site visit with Sharon Morford with the neighboring septic system. Site VUE visit with Sharon. Leachfield located west of the property does not appear to have surfacing sewage. Observed stagnant water by the septic tank located southeast side of the property.
