Researched EHD records, the address is an active small public water <br />system, Souza Water system, that was issued a total coliform MCL violation on <br />March 1,2023. To refer complaint to Unit 6 SPWS program. Updated 5104 report. <br />03/08/2023 Spoke with Hilda at San Joaquin County Fair Housing regarding complaint. She SAHOTA <br />stated that the complaint was anonymous and she did not have more information <br />beyond the noted smell of Clorox. I explained that the water system has had a <br />total coliform positive bacteriological sample in February and the owner is <br />following protocol per the Notice of Violation issued to the system. I let her know I <br />would be speaking with the owner today. Hilda requested a call back. <br />I spoke with Nelcy Merced, owner of the water system. Per the Notice of Violation, <br />the public notification is due to be submitted by March 10th. Nelcy confirmed it will <br />be distributed and a copy will be submitted to Environmental Health. I also went <br />over the level I assessment requirements, and Nelcy confirmed she will have it <br />completed. <br />03/10/2023 Received public notification from Nelcy Merced. Requested preliminary March lab SAHOTA <br />report from Debby Hagen with FGL. Called San Joaquin County Fair Housing to <br />provide update. Unable to reach Hilda, as facility is closed. Received information <br />from Debby, who stated she will need to check with samplers on Monday as she <br />does not have any note of March samples. <br />03/14/2023 Received preliminary lab report from operator, Kyle Brothers. Lab report shows <br />distribution and source sample sites are total coliform absent, with non-detect <br />chlorine residuals. <br />03/15/2023 Spoke with Hilda at San Joaquin County Fair Housing to provide her with all <br />updates regarding the system.
