All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The hand soap dispenser at the kitchen hand sink (by the soda syrup rack) is empty (squeeze bottle type <br />soap is available). Maintain the soap in the wall mounted soap dispenser. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures <br />OBSERVATIONS: The sliced tomatoes & sliced cheese are 49F. Decrease the temperature of these food items to 41F or <br />below. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Potentially hazardous foods shall be held at or below 41/ 45°F or at or above 135°F. (113996, 113998, <br />114037, 114343(a)) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed multiple dead German cockroaches and egg casings throughout the facility: embedded in ice <br />in the kitchen chest freezer, on the PVC line that runs the length of of the kitchen (behind food prep areas), on the floor by <br />the soda syrup rack and kitchen hand sink , on the counter top by the soda machine and on glue boards/sticky traps. <br />Immediately clean the facility thoroughly. Remove all dead insects and egg casings. Sanitize the affected areas. Monitor <br />areas for new activity.
