COMPLAINANT <br />STATES THE FOLLOWING DAY SON HAD BUMPS FORM ON TOPS OF FEET AS WELL AS OTHER SYMPTOMS <br />STILL OCCURRING. COMPLAINANT STATES ON MONDAY 03/13/2023 HE TOOK HIS SON TO THE ER WHERE HE <br />WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HAND/FOOT/MOUTH DISEASE. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043. 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Complaint inspection. <br />Person in charge is not aware of the complaint. Outdoor pool is closed and water is drained It will be re opened in April 2023. <br />During My inspection, I checked the pH and free chlorine for all pools. <br />Indoor children pool: pH 7.2 Free Chlorine 3.6ppm <br />UV system on 03-11-23 : 70.3/ 73 Mega Joule. ( Mini of 60 Mega Joule required) <br />Indoor Place Structure: pH 7.2 Free Chlorine 3.6ppm <br />UV system on 03-11-23 : 73.5/ 72.1 Mega Joule. <br />Indoor Slide Complex: pH 7.8 Free Chlorine 6 ppm <br />UV system on 03-11-23 : 67.3 Mega Joule. <br />Indoor Activity Pool: pH 7.2 Free Chlorine 1.2 ppm <br />UV system on 03-11-23 : 67.7 Mega Joule. <br />Indoor Wave Pool: pH 7.4 Free Chlorine 2.4 ppm <br />UV system on 03-11-23 : 67.1 Mega Joule.Indoor Lazy River pH 7.8 Free Chlorine 3.2 ppm <br />UV system on 03-11-23 :66.7 / 67.1 Mega Joule. <br />Logs are maintained for all pools. Chemicals are checked 4 times per day. I checked the logs for 03-11-23 ( day of the <br />incident). A vomit incident happened at the wave pool. Facility dealt with the incident as follow: Vomit incident happened at <br />5:59PM, pool was closed at 6PM for 30 minutes, free chlorine to be maintained at 2 ppm ( 2.2 ppm free chlorine is reported <br />on the log), pH to be at less than 7.5 ( pH 7.3 is reported on the log) then the pool is reopened at 6:30 PM.
