Contaminants of concern <br /> include the chlorinated solvents TCE; PCE; 1,1 DCA; and 1,1 DCE. <br /> As of July 1994, these waste constituents have been detected at <br /> very low concentrations and only sporadically. <br /> 5. Because of the detection of the -above-mentioned waste <br /> constituents at point-of-compliance wells downgradient of Waste <br /> Management Unit A, the Department required the Permittee to <br /> submit an application in support of a Class 3 Modification of its <br /> existing Hazardous Waste Facility Permit, pursuant to the <br /> requirements of Title 22, Cal. Code of Rags. , Section 66270.41. <br /> .The Department notified the Permittee that the proposed <br /> s <br /> modification must implement a Corrective Action Program for Waste <br /> Management Unit A as defined in Title 22, Cal. Code of Rags. , <br /> Division 4.5, Chapter 14, Article 6. <br /> B. REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1. Pursuant to Section 25200 of the California Health and <br /> Safety Code, and Title 22, Cal. Code of Rags. , Section 66264..110,, <br /> this Hazardous Waste Facility Post-Closure Permit Modification <br /> No. 2 (hereafterv :Permit Modification) is hereby granted by the <br /> a6epaitment to Permittee to conduct post-closure care, groundwater <br /> ' monitoring, And _corrective action for groundwater contamination <br /> at its Forward Landfill facility with respect to Waste Management <br /> Unit A. <br /> 3 <br />
