Box 1810 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE: Forward Landfill and Transfer Station <br /> The Forward Landfill and Transfer Station is in the process of submitting it's solid waste facility permit <br /> application.The revised permit proposes to increase the maximum daily tonnage from 4,180 tons per day to <br /> 6,688 tons per day.The Local Enforcement Agency must verify that the facility is listed and described in <br /> the Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plan(CIWMP).A finding of conformance must be made, <br /> in writing,by the responsible agency in accordance with Public Resources Code 50000-50002. <br /> The Solid Waste Division is the responsible agency for the CIWMP and is qualified to make the finding of <br /> conformance.The Environmental Health Division respectfully requests that the Solid Waste Division <br /> review the CIWMP and determine if Forward Landfill and Transfer Station is in conformance with the <br /> plan. <br /> If you have any questions in regard to this matter please contact Robert McClellon,Sr.R.E.H.S.at 468- <br /> 0332 <br /> Karen Furst,M.D.,M.P.H. <br /> Health Officer <br /> Mike Huggins,Supervising R.E.H.S. <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Cc: Kevin Basso,Forward Landfill Inc. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
