The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) inspected the <br />area on 8/18/2021, confirming the presence of oily staining on the public right away in front of your property <br />on Sparrow Hawk Road and on the northwest corner of Osprey Court (several feet in diameter); signs of <br />oil leakage were observed under the vehicle with the California license plate OLINE21. <br />Property owners are responsible for the clean-up of hazardous wastes located on their property and <br />generated by their property. Please be advised that the disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing <br />thereof, is prohibited when the disposal is at a facility that is not permitted or authorized for hazardous <br />waste disposal [HSC 25189.5 (a).]. Immediately repair any leaks your vehicle(s) have and clean up all <br />oily staining caused by your vehicle(s); dry absorbent may be used for this purpose. Dispose of all <br />generated waste materials under the appropriate waste manifesting procedure [HSC 25160 (b)(3)]. <br />Small amounts of hazardous waste can be transported to the San Joaquin County Household Hazardous <br />Waste (HHVV) facility for disposal; the HHW facility is located at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton, CA <br />95206. This facility has limited hours of operation; more information can be found here: <br />https://www.sigov.orq/solidwaste/hhw or in the included brochure. If needed, a list of qualified clean-up <br />companies that work in this area can assist with clean-up and is included with this letter. Licensed <br />hazardous waste transporters can be found here: https://hwts.dtsc.ca.gov/transporters/. <br />Subsequent complaints may require a site visit by an Environmental Health inspector.
