Date Abated • <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date <br />01/24/2023 9:06pm- EHD received CalOES spill report #23-0729. Anonymous complainant <br />stated the following: "Individuals are pray painting vehicles in a commercial area <br />and there is a strong chemical odor in the air. They are using tarps to make a <br />booth. This incident has been going on for the past few weeks and the smell is <br />getting worse." <br />Recorded by <br />GARCIA-MEJIA <br />01/25/2023 Generated complaint and completed dailies. GARCIA-MEJIA <br />01/31/2023 Called the san joaquin air district and spoke with Teresa (209-557-6400). I GARCIA-MEJIA <br />referred the complaint over to them and I also plan to inspect the site. <br />03/13/2023 The area is a large old industrial area which looks to be abandoned. No car spray GARCIA-MEJIA <br />painting or booths were observed. No chemical smell was noted at the time. New <br />and old vehicles were present along with what looked to be large quantities of <br />scrap metal. No people were observed and I was unable to make contact with <br />anyone.
