THE <br />CAUSE OF THE SINKING IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION. THE RELEASE CREATED A SHEEN 24 FEET X 24 FEET <br />IN SIZE. ABSORBENT BOOMS AND PADS HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED TO THE WATER. A CREW IS ON SCENE TO <br />RAISE THE BOAT. THE VESSEL WILL BE A 28' BAYLINER SUNBRIDGE THAT WAS ABANDONED AT THE LOCATION <br />OBSERVATIONS: <br />Received a spill report, Cal OES Control #:22-4056 at 10:37am. Traveled to site and observed a 28' vessel floating in the <br />water with soft boom placed around the vessel. No sheen was observed outside of the slip, nor in the slip. Charles Spurlock <br />indicated over a phone call the vessel was partially sunk and released some oil.
