She said that the squatter is the previous owner's son. SANGALANG <br />She says that City of Stockton has posted the house substandard and/or Unsafe <br />to Occupy. COS and Stockton PD told her that they cannot do anything else at this <br />time. I discussed how SO had discretion about arresting subjects found in 404.2 <br />houses when EHD had housing abatement program and that may be similar with <br />COS and SPD. I told her that we would investigate the sewage issues, but sounds <br />like we will need SPD escort; she said that the squatter is schizophrenic, can be <br />hostile, and had been in jail/prison in the past. <br />Completed short term complaint <br />05/04/2022 Called Stockton Police Department but the call was ended. 209-937-8377 pressed SALINAS <br />0. The automated menu directed me to a phone but there was a message stating <br />someone was not available and call ended. Will try in a little more. <br />01/31/2023 Visited property, owner was not home. She said that she is only available on <br />weekends and agreed for saturday at 13 hrs. It seems like we will be abating it, it <br />does not seem like a squatter's house to me, it looks nice and clean. Left my card <br />at the door and took a picture of the house. <br />02/07/2023 Met with Resident on Saturday since she was not available to meet me during the <br />week and our hours. Verified that the pool is not filled with sewage or have any <br />issues with sewer. The only thing I observed was green water it was not full so it <br />must have been filled due to the rain. Additionally, she mentioned that she has <br />been there for about four months and that the previous resident had some mental <br />problems and possibly dump sewage down the pool but she said she cleaned the <br />pool. <br />Created a photo log with my two visits and OIR. <br />Abated complaint and turned it in to Cesar for Review. <br />SALINAS <br />SALINAS <br />5105. rpt <br />Page 1 of 1
