Septic tank is in front of the house and well too. Complaint investigation for using water pump to release sewage into the canal and raw sewage smell. I visited the property but no one was on site. Left my business card at the gate. I observed the ground around the septic area dry and muddy around the well pump. No raw sewage smell noted, however, there was a mobile home without connections on the property. ACTIVE COMPLAINT. Created letter, Gave it to Laura to mail owner. Reviewed, will be visiting the site again today. Visited property again but no one was there. Left my card on the gate. Observed the Mobile home removed. Called complainant stated that the owner is hostile and that he is still dumping the sewage to the back of the house where the canal is. I asked if he had their number but said he rather not share it. I also asked for the time I could find him, he said before 9am or after 6 pm. got a call from the owner, he said that he is not pumping out the septic tank to the canal and that he was pumping the water out because due to the rain, it got flooded near the house kitchen sink area. He was pumping it out of the pit into the septic tank. Met with owner at the property, he showed me the pipes and the area that it was flooded. I also observed a water hose from the flooded area to the septic tank. He said he was pumping the water out because due to the rain, it got flooded near the house kitchen sink area.
