An approximately 2 gallon oil spill occurred in the BAKER <br />parking lot of Manteca Tires at 201 W. Edison in Manteca. A car hit a boulder and <br />punctured the oil pan causing the release. Called Manteca Tires at (209) <br />239-3558. Spill has not been cleaned up. No storm drains or waterways were <br />impacted. The bank is the property owner and they are responsible for the <br />clean-up. Went to site to verify spill. <br />Spill area covered and approximate area of 10x10 feet. No free liquids observed. <br />Staining on pavement. Spoke with Joseph Rendon (Branch Manager) of Farmers <br />& Merchants bank. He was unaware of the release and will send a report to <br />Christy Newport. Provided contact information. Left site. <br />04/26/2022 Arrived on site with L. Baker and G. Garcia-Meija, observed large stain on the SAETERN <br />southwest entrance of the facility parking lot. Per Joseph Rendon, bank manager, <br />there was a vehicle accident that had occurred on Sunday 4/24/2022 that caused <br />the vehicle oil pan to punctured. <br />04/26/2022 Notice to abate was issued and emailed to cnewport@fmbonline.com. SAETERN <br />Phoned Christ Newport, VP Corporate Real Estate Development and <br />Construction, 209-367-2362, requesting for contact information and how they will <br />conduct the clean up. Per Christi, they had reviewed the camera on their facility <br />and noted that there was a car accident on Sunday and she will dispatch an <br />internal clean up personnel to assess the situation and will conduct the clean up <br />today. <br />Received phone call from Brandon of All Environmental requesting for what needs <br />to be cleaned up. Informed him that I cannot instruct him on how to conduct the <br />clean up. Per Brandon, he will used floor sweep on the contaminated area, place <br />the contaminate into a drum and manifest it. <br />04/27/2022 Returned phone call to Christi Newport, VP Corporate Real Estate Development SAETERN <br />and Construction, 209-367-2362, stated that Brandon of All Environmental came <br />out to the facility and cleaned up mess and will e-mail the manifest. Informed her <br />to e-mail me a final manifest when she received it from Brandon. <br />04/27/2022 Amended notice to abate report.
