COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />10:15 am <br /> 9:51 am <br />Time Out: <br />Time In: <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: Date: 03/23/2023 <br />Address: 15600 S HARLAN RD, LATHROP <br />Owner/Operator: Telephone: <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: CO0055693 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />CO0055693 states: "COMPLAINANT STATES EMPLOYEES ARE EATING AND CHEWING GUM AT THE PREP <br />COUNTER. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES WHEN SHE ASKED THE EMPLOYEE WHO HAD JUST HANDLED CASH <br />TO WASH HER HANDS BEFORE MAKING HER SANDWICH OR HAVE SOMEONE ELSE MAKE IT, SHE WAS TOLD TO <br />LEAVE AND NOT COME BACK TO THE STORE." <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Facility Manager and Togo's Manager are on site this date. Togo's Manager is aware of the complaint. She states that an <br />employee that was on their break came back into the prep area to assist another employee. <br />At the time of the inspection, no eating or gum chewing was observed. Proper hand washing was observed. <br />Reminders: No employee shall chew gum or eat food while preparing food or in any food preparation area. Designate a <br />specific area for employees to take their break. In addition, hands must be washed following the handling of cash (or anytime <br />contamination may occur) prior to food preparation. Hands shall be washed in between glove changes as well. <br />Managers stated they understood and would take action to re-educate employees. <br />No signature obtained <br />Report typed 3:30p-3:39p <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
