Ken is the person notifying cal OES about the release and also the <br />site manager. <br />According to Ken the rain water from the canal entered into polishing pond 13 on <br />January 14, 2023 which resulted in overflow of the mixed water. The polishing <br />pond hold treated water. At this point the only option they have is to let the water <br />evaporate from the pond. <br />The polishing pond hold treated water which they used to irrigate. <br />01/18/2023 C00055530. Site visit with Ken. Observed impacted site. Polishing ponds areas <br />are flooded with rainwater.
