Look ahead (15 seconds if <br />possible) to observe traffic flow and traffic <br />signals. Adjust speed accordingly to keep <br />vehicle moving and avoid frequent <br />braking. Select lane of least traffic and adjust <br />speed based on observed signal timing when <br />possible. Use TRACK and keep hands clear when <br />opening/closing hood, trunk, or tailgate to avoid <br />crush or pinch hazard. <br />Struck by other vehicles while walking <br />around vehicle performing inspections. <br />Wear high visibility vest, shirt, or coat while <br />performing inspections in parking lots or other <br />areas with a traffic hazard.
