Carlos of South County fire sent the notification.
Received notification from Carlos Hampton South County Fire Authority
209-581-4010 at approximately 3:45 pm. Approximately 3-5 gallons of antifreeze
and oil was released from a vehicle accident in Tracy California on the North West
corner curb. The affected storm drain was approximately 100 feet from the North
West corner. The oil/antifreeze mix is on the curb, which was picked up with
absorbent without an inspector being on site. The oil/antifreeze mix followed the
curb into a storm drain. I called City Of Tracy Water Wayne Bogart: 209-8145243
and asked if they received any notification of the spill. He indicated he would travel
to the site and investigate. Arrived on site, and met with Wayne Bogart. Walked
the contaminated area. City of Tracy power washed the storm drain and removed
contamination. The curb was previously cleaned with absorbent before the
inspector was on site. Waste is to be taken to City of Tracy Public Works yard at
520 Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA 95376 for waste determination. Approximately 75
gallons of rinsate was generated. Remnants of used absorbent was on site in the
curb and swept up before the inspector was on site. Called Carlos H. to get an
indication of who performed cleaning. Left a message with a name number and
reason for the call. Wrote an official inspection report addressed to
publicworks@cityoftracy.org. Wayne Bogart city of tracy indicated street
department cleaned up the absorbent.
12/13/2022 Updated narrative complaints ERNEST
12/19/2022 Updated narratives as per email sent by John Alaniz email.
