Date: 01/26/2023 <br />Address 345 E ROTH RD, LATHROP <br />Owner/Operator: BENETO STEPHEN T JR TR & DARLENE J Telephone: <br />Program Element: 2546- RELEASE/SPILL RESPONSE (EXCLUDING JOINT TEAM) Complaint #: C00055556 <br />Responsible Party Contact: DENNIS DAVIS <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />SADDLE BAG ON A SEMI TRUCK WAS PUNCTURED DUE TO UNKNOWN REASONS RESULTING IN THE RELEASE <br />OF APPROXIMATELY 10-15 GALLONS OF DIESEL ONTO ASPHALT AND CONCRETE. NO WATERWAYS OR STORM <br />DRAINS WERE IMPACTED. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Approximately 10-15 gallons of diesel were released due to a ruptured saddle tank. No waterways or storm drains were <br />impacted. The responsible party retained Ancon Environmental to conduct clean up. Clean up was completed the same day, <br />1/24/23. Approximately 1 55-gallon drum of waste was generated and was stored on site pending disposal. Please provide the <br />EHD with a copy of the final disposal record. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
