Sent him a response. <br />Justin sent an email saying he would contact code enforcement. <br />03/02/2021 Received an update on this complaint from John Alaniz, Sr REHS. Reviewed <br />narrative. <br />FLORIDO <br />03/03/2021 Called and left voice messages for Steve Thomass of Community Development <br />and Justin Padilla of County Stormwater to set up a time for today's inspection. <br />FLORIDO <br />Scheduled the joint-inspection for 10:30am. Discussed complaint with Michelle <br />Henry, Ld Sr REHS. <br />Preparation for inspection. <br />03/03/2021 Downloaded photos, generated photo log and draft OIR. Text messaged Steve FLORIDO <br />Thomas, CDD Code Enforcement Officer, requesting he provide the registered <br />address for G's Auto Repair In Motion. Steve stated he will research this and get <br />back to me. <br />03/03/2021 Emailed complaint update to John Alaniz, Elena Manzo, Garrett Backus, Michelle FLORIDO <br />Henry, Muniappa Naidu, and Melissa Nissim of SJC EHD. Discussed complaint <br />observations and OIR with Michelle, Elena, and John. <br />03/03/2021 Discussed complaint with Elianna Florido, REHS. ALANIZ <br />Called Steve Thomas, community development, (209) 468-8396, and left a <br />message asking if the business run by Gary Gordon was registered to the <br />address. <br />03/03/2021 Site visit made with Scott Sangalang, Housing Unit Lead Senior REHS, Steve FLORIDO <br />Thomas, Community Development Code Enforcement Officer, and Justin Padilla <br />and Brandon Pimentel, Public Works Water Resources Engineering Assistants. <br />We met with Catherine Jones, daughter of deceased property owner, and Gary <br />Gordon, tenant and owner of G's Auto Repair In Motion mobile mechanic service. <br />Catherine granted access to the backyard. No vehicle repair work and no oil <br />spillage on the ground was observed. A black tote and a white shed in the <br />northeast corner of the backyard were observed storing chemical containers. A <br />second white shed on the west side of the backyard was observed storing <br />furniture and tools. A 5-gallon bucket was observed half-filled with used oil. <br />According to Gordon, he does not perform customer vehicle repair work at the <br />residence, he does not store waste generated from his operations at the <br />residence, he takes his used oil generated from his operations to either O'Reilly's, <br />Autozone, or Pick-N-Pull, and he only repairs his own personal vehicles at the <br />residence. <br />Provided Gordon and Catherine with a San Joaquin County Household Hazardous <br />Waste brochure, where they can dispose of the used oil and other waste <br />chemicals observed. <br />Left site for another complaint. <br />5105.rpt <br />Page 3 of 4
