Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: MOTEL 6, 1140 S CHEROKEE Ln, LODI 95240 <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> #32 Chemical Control and Monitoring System <br />OBSERVATIONS: Automatic acid feeder was disconnected and monitoring system was turned off. Per pool service tech <br />this was because the system was not working, they were currently added acid by hand. Provide working monitoring system <br />and acid feeder within 1 month, email evidence of correction to dafonskaia@jgov.org <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Chemical feeders shall be constructed with an adjustable output rate device controlled by an approved <br />automatic chemical monitoring and control system that regulates at minimum pH and disinfectant. Chemical feeders shall be constructed <br />and installed to prevent uncontrolled discharge or siphoning of chemicals and fumes directly into the pool, recirculation system, pool area, <br />or ancillary facilities. (CBC 3133B) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: The flow meter for the spa was not working. Provide working flow meter today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3125B) <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />Flow rate:gpm <br />pH: <br />Chlorine:ppm <br />Cyanuric acid:ppm <br />Temp:º F <br />7.6 <br />3.8 <br /><30 <br /> 103.00 <br />Combined chlorine:ppm <br />NOTES <br />Routine inspection. <br />Influent: 22 PSI <br />Safety equipment, safety signs, and light ok. <br />Emergency shut off switch shuts off both jets and recirculation system, after switch is pulled back and released the jets <br />automatically come back on but the recirculation system pump has to be manually turned back on. <br />Ok to re-open spa. <br />Maintain operation records for daily testing of disinfectant residual, spa water temp, and PH and monthly testing of cyanuric <br />acid. <br />Provide evidence of automatic chlorine feeder, acid feeder, and chemical monitoring system being used and properly working <br />to dafonskaia@sjgov.org by 5/2/2023 or there will be a chargeable re-inspection. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
