COMPLAINANT <br />STATES THE CORN IS NOT BEING STORED PROPERLY, NOT REFRIGERATED AND BEING KEPT IN A LARGE <br />PALLET. COMPLAINANT STATED HE THOUGHT HE MIGHT HAVE SEEN SOMETHING MOVE IN THE CORN. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />Complaint inspection. No major violations. No re-inspection. <br />Manager, William Cruse, unaware of complaint. Observed two pallets of corn on the cob in the retail area of the store and <br />one pallet of corn on the cob being stored inside the walk-in cooler. Mold was observed on some corn cobs in the retail area <br />at the back of the store. Husks on the corn were brown and dried. Corn was stored in boxes on pallets off the ground. <br />Walk-in cooler temperature was observed at 41 F. Did not observe anything moving in the corn. <br />Sort through corn on the cob and remove any that have mold. Correct today. <br />Official inspection report was emailed to operator. <br />To minimize person-to-person contact, the signature of the person receiving the inspection report was not captured. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
