The EHD is charging for our time at 152 dollars/hour for cost recovery. Once the final
disposal records and the hazardous waste determination documents have been received, the complaint will be closed.
As discussed on the phone, the generator needs to be the one to do the complete hazardous waste determination. If
the waste is determined to be hazardous, the waste container must be immediately updated with complete hazardous
waste labeling. In addition, the date the waste was generated must be the accumulation start date.
Please confirm that you received the notice to abate.
Thank You,
John Alaniz
REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 E Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 616-3053
Fax: (209) 468-3433
Please note, my email address has changed to jalanizl@sjgoy.org .
1
