The operator ERNEST <br />indicated Eric Ostrum 510 210 2340 with PG&E indicated there was a 40 gallon <br />non pcb mineral oil release due to a minivan crashing into a pad mounted <br />transformer on the ground located on 1795 W Widmer Ln, in Manteca Ca 95337. I <br />called Eric Ostrum and asked for more information. He indicated a contractor was <br />on route, the vehicle had been removed, and the gutter approx 200 ft away was <br />not affected by the release. Traveled to site and arrived at approximately at 6:20. <br />Observed transformer oil along the curb and bend for approximately 100 feet. A <br />dam of absorbent was used in order to keep transformer oil from continuing down <br />the curb. Received more information on the clean up company. The clean up <br />company is to show up at approx 7:45 pm. An OES report was also made by Eric <br />0. Called Thomas Reese of Clean Harbor, the contractor contracted to clean the <br />spill site. He also indicated a 7:45pm arrival time. I traveled home. Called Thomas <br />Reese 4087106517 and indicated to give me notification when the spill has been <br />completed. Received call back at 10:30 PM for spill cleanup verification. Met with <br />Thomas R. and verified clean up. 6 drums of waste were generated. 4 drums of <br />soil/solid waste. 2 drums of liquid/rinse water. Waste is to be taken to Manteca <br />PG&E service center. Waste generated was indicated by Clean Harbors as non <br />hazardous. <br />12/12/2022 Completed populating information.
