Polyether amines are recognized in the US EPA Title 40CFR (Code of
Federal Regulations) Part 79 as an accepted detergent -active fuel additive, have been in existence for
over 20 years and can be found in fuel additive products in varying amounts. ULTRAZOL° GA9058
contains 2-ethylhexanol, which is commonly found in fuel additive packages. In this formulation, the 2-
ethylhexanol is intended to act as a diluent in order to maintain the appropriate clarity and reduced
viscosity of ULTRAZOLI GA9058.
The Lubrizol Corporation 1/2023
Substance
ULTRAZOL9988
Current Product
ULTRAZOLGA9058
New Product)
CAS
Synonyms
Xylene
40.50%
40-50%
1330-20-7
Xylene
Polyether amino
1.5%
10-20%
Polymer
PEA common polymer
Petroleum naphtha
1-5%
1-5%
64742-94.5
Naphtha, Heavy Aromatic
Hydroxyalkyl carboxylic acid
1-5%
1-5%
68411-58-S
Fatty acids
Z-Ethylhexanol
Not present
1-5%
104.76-7
Iso octyl alcohol
Toluene
0.1-0.5%
0.1.0.S%
108-88.3
Toluene
++ Ethylbenzene
5-10%
5.10%
100-41-4
Ethylbenzene
1++ Naphthalene
0.1-0.5%
0.1-0.5%
91-20-3
Naphthalene
» The Wted mmponenrs are+ubmmponcnrs
o}mehoardo hOredirntr thted obove.
G
30-'f
A
A
ULTRAZOL11 GA9058 contains the same chemical family of petroleum products as ULTRAZOL® 9888.
ULTRAZOL® GA9058 and ULTRAZOL119888 contain a common active -detergent, polyether amine
polymers, which are used in gasoline engines to achieve optimum engine performance of older and
especially newer engine designs.
