March 21, 2023
Office of Emergency Services
2101 East Earhart Ave Suite 300
Stockton, CA 95206
Veseris
2452 Boeing Way Suite 100
Stockton, CA 95206

MAR 4 2023
BY.

RECEIVED
MAR 2 4 2023
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
Dear Director:
Veseris operates a chemical distribution center at the above address. In our continuing
effort to keep emergency service agencies and others who potentially may be called
upon during an emergency situation at our facility informed, we are providing you
with a copy of our most current Contingency Plan. Knowledge of our facility and its
operations as discussed in our Contingency Plan will help you provide informed
emergency assistance to us in the unlikely event of a fire, explosion, or the release of a
toxic material. As a chemical distribution company, please be advised that we have
hazardous materials on-site and may also have hazardous waste materials on-site,
these may include flammables, corrosives, poisons and/or toxic materials.
We are required by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and the Superfund
Amendments and Reauthorization Act to show that we have informed local
emergency assistance facilities such as yours of the equipment, supplies, and plans we
have in-place in the event of an emergency at our facility. In addition, the EPA and
state waste management regulations require us to formalize emergency arrangements,
where your department/agency agrees to respond, if called upon, for an emergency at
this facility.
We ask that you review the plan, and sign and return a copy of this letter in the
enclosed envelope. Also, we would appreciate your comments or suggestions on the
plan in order to assist us in making it as useful as possible to those who may be
involved in an emergency situation at our facility.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Kevin Carey
