All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The hand sink lacks a paper towel dispenser. Install a single use paper towel dispenser and maintain <br />stocked and in good working order at all times. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: The warm water at the restroom hand sink was observed at 91 F. Adjust hot water heater so that hand <br />sink has warm water at a minimum of 100 F. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed small holes in the wall in the restroom. Repair walls so that they are smooth, cleanable and <br />non-absorbent within 30 days. <br />Floor was replaced in the restroom and the base lacks a cove. These floor surfaces shall be coved at the juncture at the <br />floor and wall with a three-eighths (3/8) inch minimum radius coving and shall extend up the wall at least four (4) inches. <br />Rubber or vinyl top set base is not permitted in these areas. Slim foot or Schluter are acceptable. Repair base within 30 <br />days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
