All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: A safety sign containing the address of the facility is not posted. All safety signs shall be posted. <br />Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: Debris was observed on the bottom of the pool. Maintain pool clean and free of debris. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: A minor amount of pitting of the shell was observed at the shallow end of the pool. Plan to re-plaster <br />pool in the future. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 3108B) <br /> #19 Depth Markers <br />OBSERVATIONS: Two of the deep end depth markers in the pool are damaged. Repair depth markers within two weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations: at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at <br />each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth <br />markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches. For pool water depths 6 feet and <br />shallower, markers with universal "NO DIVING" symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers.
