All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: A safety sign containing the address of the facility is faded. All safety signs shall be posted. Correct <br />today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: One skimmer lacks a weir. Install weir in two weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br /> #27 Pool Equipment Room <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pump room has tall vegetation blocking entrance to the pump room. Clean within one week and <br />maintain clean. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep ancillary facilities well maintained. (CCR 65535) All filters, valves, pumps, strainers <br />and equipment shall be readily accessible for repair and replacement. (CBC 3123B) <br /> #31 Disinfectant Feeders <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chlorine tablets are being used in the skimmer. Only feed chemicals automatically. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each pool shall be provided with a system capable of continuous disinfection of the pool water. (CBC 3123B) <br />Disinfectant feeders shall be capable of supplying not less than the equivalent of 3 pounds of 100 percent available chlorine per day per <br />10,000 gallons of pool water. (CBC 3134B) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: The flow meter is not functioning. Replace/repair today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications.
