All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed the life hook rescue pole and the life ring with throw rope were not in the pool area readily <br />available. Ensure safety equipment is maintained readily visible and available for use at all times. Correct immediately. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br /> #30 Pool Equipment and Plumbing Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed a small leak underneath the the sand filter piping. Repair within three days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All equipment related to pool operations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's <br />specifications and shall comply with applicable requirements established by applicable NSF/ANSI-50 performance standards.
