All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa chlorine was above 11 ppm. Provide chlorine between 3-10 ppm when operating. Corrected on <br />site, the chlorine was adjusted and it was 7.4 ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa pH was 8. Provide pH between 7.2-7.8 when operating. Corrected on site, acid was added and <br />it was 7.6. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Missing o-ring. Provide today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br /> #30 Pool Equipment and Plumbing Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed leak from rolachem hose. Repair leak. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All equipment related to pool operations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's <br />specifications and shall comply with applicable requirements established by applicable NSF/ANSI-50 performance standards. (CBC <br />3123B) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: The flow meter was stuck. Provide working flow meter. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications.
