All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH level of the pool water is greater than 8.0. Take immediate action to reduce the pH of the pool <br />water to the range of 7.2 to 7.8. <br />Pool tech added some acid. <br />pH was re-checked: 7.8 <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The combined chlorine level of the pool is 0.5ppm. Take action to reduce the combined chlorine to <br />0.4ppm or less. Correct by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid level of the pool water is greater than 100 ppm. Take action to reduce the cya level to <br />less than 100 ppm. Correct ASAP. <br />REPEAT VIOLATION <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm.
