All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #24 VGB Suction Covers MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Main drain cover was observed not secured completely over the main drain. Properly repair main drain <br />cover today so entire drain area is covered. Close pool area until the corrections are made and verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All suction outlets shall be equipped with suction covers that meet the applicable ANSI/APSP-16 performance <br />standards. (CBC 3137B) <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: A broken coping tile was observed near the shallow end of the east side of the pool and several tiles <br />were missing on the "wading" area wall of the pool. Repair/replace tiles within 30 days. <br />A damaged area was observed near the shallow end of the pool. Repair soon. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency.
