COMPLAINANT STATES THAT ON 09/20/2023 THEY STARTED HAVING <br /> SYMPTOMS OF DIARRHEA, BLOODY STOOL, FEVER, HEADACHE,ABDOMINAL CRAMPS,VOMITING,AND CHILLS. <br /> COMPLAINANT STATES THEY WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM ON 09/23/2023 AND 09/24/2023 AND WAS <br /> DIAGNOSED WITH SALMONELLA. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible Major <br /> OBSERVATIONS: I observe the cook touching with the worn gloves the raw burger patty to be cooked on the grill and with <br /> the same gloves he touched other ready to eat food. Stop this practice immediately.Wash your hands with hot water and <br /> soap every time to touch raw meat/changing task.Adopt the proper practice from today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br /> maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing,food preparation and the washing of <br /> utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(0) <br /> #7 Hot and Cold Holding Temperatures Major <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Liquid eggs on ice bath, has temp at 57F. No enough ice in the ice bath. Provide 41 F or below today. <br /> Food is discarded voluntarily by the manager. <br /> Pancake batter on the ice bath, is at 47F. Right side 2 D reach in cooler/under prep table at the cooking area, has temp at <br /> 52F. Liquid eggs and sliced tomatoes, held on it, are at 44F and 46F respectively. Provide 41 F or below today. <br /> 1 D cooler, next to the right side 2 D reach in cooler/under prep table in the cooking area, has temp at 49F. Provide 41 F or <br /> below today. <br /> 4 Drawer cooler under the griddle, raw burger patties and meat lovers(diced sausage and ham)have temp at 45F,43F and <br /> 46F respectively.
