All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: The interior of the spa was green as the pump was shut off, bottom and main drain were were visible. <br />Maintain clean spa, correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #29 Recirculation System Operation <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa pump was shut off because the emergency shut off switch was activated, unable to determine <br />how long pump was shut off for. Per office staff they usually have to turn off the emergency shut off switch every morning. <br />Pump was be working when pool is available for use and to maintain clear water, the emergency shut off switch is only to be <br />used in emergencies. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water. (CCR 65525) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pressure difference between the influent and effluent gauges is greater than 10 PSI. <br />Clean/backwash filter. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3123B) Pressure gauge <br />located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B) Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br />can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
