Abated By: cre42 - ,s0.E.24ern <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date Recorded by <br />10/06/2022 Received a phone call from Front Counter, Alex Steel of PG&E reported there a SAETERN <br />few droplets of mineral oil that impacted someone's backyard. <br />Phoned Alex Steele, who stated they had replaced a transformer. The same <br />transformed leaked mineral oil onto someone's backyard per home owner's report. <br />Per Alex, the crew are no longer on site and will return during the evening to <br />assess the situation. It is unknown if the transformer is a blue sticker. Per Alex, it <br />is recommended to return the following morning by then he should have more <br />information regarding the situation. <br />Updated J Alaniz, Lead RENS, and P. Nso, EHS. <br />10/06/2022 At approximately 3:55pm, received notification that about less than one cup of <br /> <br />NSO <br />mineral oil was released from a transformer pressure relief valve onto the <br />backyard of resident at 221 Coronado way, Tracy. Arrived on site and made <br />contact with the homeowner and observed the impacted area with droplets of oil <br />on the soil. The homeowner stated that oil was dripping from the transformer onto <br />the soil in the backyard. <br />10/06/2022 Prepared Notice to abate and e mail to Alex Steele. NSO <br />r2sv@pge.com. <br />10/07/2022 Called Alex Steele and left a message to check on cleanup and sampling for PRESTO <br />release. Spoke with Alex who said he is on his way to Manteca now to get <br />samples from the transformer that was replaced. He said the transformer was <br />replaced last night by the contract line crew and they conducted clean up but the <br />release was only drips. He will take samples at the house if the samples from the <br />transformer come back as PCB. <br />Stopped by house and met with homeowner who let me into the backyard through <br />the side gate. He pointed me to the area of the release. He said it was just drips <br />but they replaced it already. No staining was observed in the soil. <br />10/10/2022 Entered narrative information from 10/7/2022. Saved photos into shared drive.
