Discussed with S. SAETERN <br />Woldearegay who is on B and assisted with the follow-up. <br />05/01/2023 PG&E complaint at 5424 E Hwy 26, Stockton WOLDEAREGAY <br />-Received complainant information from the front counter. Contacted Alex Steel <br />with PG&E who stated that due to the wind, a transformer tilted releasing 2 gallons <br />of mineral oil on to the driveway of 5424 E Hwy 26, Stockton. Alex stated that the <br />oil was sampled and received verbal confirmation that it is non-PCB. The release <br />occurred this morning at 6:45 am. PG&E has been working on restoring power in <br />that area. Clean Harbor is currently on their way to conduct the clean-up (should <br />be there by 5:30 am). Waste will be taken to the Stockton yard at 4040 West Ln, <br />Stockton. <br />05/01/2023 Discussed spill with lead senior, Paul Nso (D), and Kristina Saetern (C). WOLDEAREGAY <br />05/01/2023 Arrived on site at 5.25pm to verify cleanup and observed oily stains on driveway NSO <br />concrete. PG & E contractors were on site working to replace the power line. <br />Called Alex Steel of PG&E, and he had just left site and stated Clean Harbors <br />Environmental Services Inc will be conducting cleanup of the impacted surface <br />area and they will be on site very soon, additionally sample analysis came out <br />non-PCB. At approximately 6.10pm Clean Harbors arrived on site and made <br />contact with Manny Sias of Clean harbors, Cell 916 546 0216 and stated cleanup <br />cannot be conducted until PG&E contactors are done replacing the powerline and <br />from all indications it will take a while. Left site at 6.30pm to continue follow up. At <br />9.30pm called Manny Sias and said Cleanup had not started, PG &E contractors <br />were still working to replace the power line. <br />05/01/2023 Discuss complaint details. NSO <br />05/02/2023 At 12.30am called Manny Sias and stated PG& E Contractors were still working. NSO <br />At approximately 4.45am Manny said cleanup had started. At 6.30am arrived on <br />site to verify clean up, met with Manny Sias -Clean Harbors. Clean up was <br />completed driveway looking good. According to Manny Sias absorbents were used <br />for the cleanup and then pressure watch the driveway. Two 55-gallon drums of <br />solid waste were generated from the cleanup operation and was being taken to <br />PG & E,4040 West Lane Stockton, for storage and disposal as hazardous waste. <br />No storm drains or waterway impacted. <br />5105 rpt Page 1 of 2
