Tracy WP0042907 <br /> The Environmental Health Department recently reviewed the records for the address above and <br /> found that a pump permit has not yet been obtained. <br /> • Lack of pump permit, to be obtained by owner or contractor. <br /> (SJC Ord. Code, Section 9-1115.3. —Well/Pump Permit Required) <br /> Corrective Action: Obtain a pump permit within 30 days of this letter. A double fee may be <br /> required for conducting work without a permit. <br /> • Water Sampling needed: <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) requires well sampling as part <br /> of the permitting process for any new or replacement domestic well. San Joaquin County Well <br /> Standards section 9-9.2.1* states "To determine quality of water produced by a new water well, <br /> it shall be sampled by the EHD for bacteriological and chemical analysis after development, the <br /> installation of the well pump, and disinfection."
