SANIJOAQUIN <br />----COUNTY <br />Cyrre;rsi <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: 10:37 am <br />Time Out: 11:07 am <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: FAR EAST RESTAURANT Date: 07/06/2023! <br />Address: 2211 N WILSON WAY, STOCKTON 95205 <br />Owner/Operator: HUANG, CHUNYUAN Telephone: (209) 463-4478 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00055928 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT STATES THE FACILITY IS FILTHY, GRIMY, AND FEELS OILY LIKE IT HASN'T BEEN CLEANED IN <br />YEARS. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES THE KITCHEN IS BEING USED AS A STORAGE SPACE, ALLEGEDLY THERE <br />ARE ITEMS STACKED EVERYWHERE. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed a bag of onions stored on the floor in the back room. Observed a box of styrofoam food <br />service containers on the floor in the back room. Place and store all food items six inches off the floor. <br />Corrected on Site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving. (114047, 114049, 114051, 114053, 114055, 114067(h), 114069 (b)) <br />#33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed dust accumulation on top of the water heater. Clean surfaces regularly and as needed. <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean. (114115 (c)) <br />#45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: The floor underneath the standing cooler in the kitchen and underneath the 3-comp sink were observed <br />with debris. Clean and maintain clean hard-to-reach areas regularly and as needed. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls /ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
