All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa chlorine was 1.8 ppm. Maintain chlorine between 3-10 ppm when operating. Corrected on site, <br />chlorine was added and it was 5.0 ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: The skimmer basket and float valve assembly were damaged. Replace basket and float valve assembly <br />today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: The influent and effluent pressure gauges were broken. Provide working influent and effluent pressure <br />gauges today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
