Ham Ln, Lodi, CA 95240
A complaint (COMTSBOKB) has been received by this office alleging that a used
syringe/needle and vial of blood was dumped near the solid waste dumpster at the above
address.
An inspection of the property found a used syringe/needle and vial of liquid near the dumpster.
The source of the waste is unknown and there was no label on the syringe or vial.
The used syringe/needle sharps waste must be disposed of at a sharps waste handling facility
as described in California Health & Safety Code sections 118285 - 118286.
The vial of liquid is regulated as solid waste and not as medical waste, if a business source of
the vial cannot be found.
Please dispose of the syringe/needle as required by the California Medical Waste Management
Act.
