CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> 11020 Sun Center Drive, #200, Rancho Cordova, California 95670-6114 <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> concerning <br /> TENTATIVE NEW WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS <br /> FOR <br /> FORWARD INC. <br /> FORWARD LANDFILL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) are tentatively being issued to Forward Inc. as <br /> the operator and owner, also known as the discharger (Discharger) for the Forward <br /> Landfill (Facility) located at 9999 South Austin Road, which is located approximately 7 <br /> mile southeast of Stockton in San Joaquin County. <br /> The Facility consists of a closed Class I unit and several Class II and III units (landfill). <br /> The site also incorporates creeks, easements, entrance facilities, scales, roadways, <br /> storage areas, borrow areas, maintenance areas, and other miscellaneous operational <br /> areas. This new Order prescribes waste discharge requirements (WDRs) and requires <br /> implementation of an associated monitoring and reporting program (MRP) for the <br /> Facility. <br /> A public hearing concerning this matter will be held during the Central Valley Water <br /> Board meeting scheduled for: <br /> DATE: 10/11 August 2023 <br /> TIME: 8:30 a.m. <br /> PLACE: Remote meeting via video and teleconference, and/or in-person <br /> meeting at 11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite 200, Rancho Cordova, <br /> CA 95670. <br /> AS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 EMERGENCY, AND AS AUTHORIZED BY <br /> GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 11133 AND EXECUTIVE ORDER N-1-22, THIS <br /> PUBLIC MEETING IS CURRENTLY SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE IN-PERSON <br /> AND VIA VIDEO AND TELECONFERENCE, BUT THE FORMAT MAY BE CHANGED <br /> IN THE FUTURE.
