Disposal Facility (Site) Inspection Report (52) <br /> Forward Landfill, Inc. (39-AA-0015) <br /> 3/31/2023 <br /> nuisance or cause other problems. <br /> B. Ensure litter is collected and disposed appropriately on a daily basis. <br /> C. Operator shall use clean soil to cover areas evident of daylighting. <br /> 27 CCR 20820 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br /> Erosion channels observed on side slopes and ponding observed at various areas of <br /> the site. Ponding is due to recent rain events. Exposed waste was not observed. <br /> A. The drainage system shall be designed and maintained to prevent exposure of <br /> waste. <br /> B. Repair erosion channels with clean soil. <br /> C. Pump out depressions and grade surfaces to prevent future ponding. <br /> Inspection Report Comments <br /> Notes: <br /> 1. Soil and tarps are used for the daily cover. <br /> 2. The first truck at the active face was at 6:07 am. <br /> 3. Records were available for review. <br /> 4. An uncovered truck was observed on the roadway to the active face. Ensure all trucks are <br /> covered until they reach the active face. <br /> 5. Sheep's are used for vegetation control. Vegetation was at a minimum. <br /> 6. Track out was light and the odor was moderate. <br /> 7. The winter pads are currently utilized. There are two areas that are being used for disposal; <br /> one is for the tipper and the other is for all other trucks. <br /> 8. Monitoring well GP-26 was measured for methane level. The methane concentration for the <br /> well was 0% for the shallow and deep probe. <br /> 9. It was difficult to navigate to both of the active faces due to poor road conditions at the <br /> proximity of the active faces.
